## What it is and how it works

An increase in clicks or a low [conversion](https://www.zorraquino.com/en/dictionary/advertising/conversion.html) rate does not prove fraud on its own. Measurement errors, irrelevant traffic and invalid activity need to be distinguished. Campaign records and the provider's mechanisms help investigate what happened; the handling of charges and claims depends on the service's terms.
