## What it is and how it works

It can address the value proposition, commercial relationships, service delivery or operations. It should specify the problems to solve, the capabilities required, decision ownership and how outcomes will be assessed. A list of tools or campaigns is not a strategy on its own. Technology strategy develops the architecture and platform choices needed to support it.

## Frequently asked questions about Digital strategy

### We have several digital initiatives and all seem urgent. How do we choose what to pursue?

Agree first on the outcome: improving a critical experience, creating a business opportunity or removing an operational constraint. Then consider dependencies, delivery capacity and evidence of value. A highly visible initiative may rely on data or processes that are not ready. Digital strategy should turn that analysis into a sequence of decisions, with ownership and clear conditions for continuing, adjusting or stopping each investment.
