What is the business model canvas?

Strategic tool for the creation of businesses created by Alexander Osterwalder in 2008 and popularized by the book of the same name, which proposes using a canvas to visually set out and inter-relate the nine blocks that represent the parts of a business: customer segments, value proposition, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key alliances, and costs structure.

One of the tool's main advantages is that it enables us to think strategically and obtain a deeper vision of our business model.
