What is soft bounce?

A temporary bounce. Email messages that have not been delivered during an email marketing campaign because an addressee's inbox was full when the email was sent. The communication reaches the addressee with a certain delay unaffected by the sender.

Should the addressee's email server remain deactivated for three days, the message is returned to the sender and is then classified as a hard bounce.
