Trend axes - Nomadism - Stress - Autonomy - Flexibility Some figures 7.3M US workers describe themselves as digital nomads, an increase of 2.5M on the previous year. 74% Of Americans who already work remotely would consider living and working somewhere other than their home for a period of time. 46% Of North Americans working remotely say they have used Airbnb to find a remote work destination, according to the company. $263 Is the price set by the Government of Bermuda to apply for the residence and work certificate in its territory for one year. ## Nothing ties us down Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the trend of “working from anywhere” has accelerated considerably. The faltering tourism sector has had to look desperately for solutions to fill at least some of its hotel rooms, despite travel restrictions around the world during 2020. At the same time, employees and freelancers in many places are tiring of working only from home: their productivity and wellbeing suffer from the lack of separation between professional and private life. Countries such as Estonia, Barbados, Georgia and the Czech Republic are looking to attract digital nomads to cushion, among other things, the fall in tourism. The arrival of these professionals can also be an opportunity for depopulated areas or those with a very ageing population. “Business travel is in shambles and will never be the same. Some destinations and hotels will have to adapt to a tourist that travel less frequently but stay longer”.
