What is a UX writer?

Someone who drafts the texts and headings for a digital product in such a way as to assist the user to complete the task being performed. As well as taking care of modulating the tone, voice, and style of the product, a UX writer does research in order to ascertain the needs of the user. It is best if he/she can participate in the process right from the very start of the product, and as such he/she will need to co-operate with other UX professionals, such as designers and researchers. In contrast to a copywriter, the task of a UX writer is not aimed at sales or conversions, but rather to direct, through words, the interaction between product and user.
