Atomic design

Atomic design is a methodology by Brad Frost that organises interfaces into atoms, molecules, organisms, templates and pages

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It encourages thinking about small components and how they combine to create complete experiences. It is an organisational model, not a mandatory technical structure. A design system also needs criteria for use, accessibility, documentation and maintenance.
