What is transmedia storytelling?

It is a technique used to tell a single story across multiple platforms and formats, both online and offline. Involves the intentional division of content over different media, which separately only account for a fragment of the overall story. Which means that multiple forms of media must be used to understand the entire story.

In transmedia storytelling special relevance is given to the strategy, as the aim is to achieve user interaction and thereby generate a different experience, where the user becomes a protagonist and even co-creator of the content.
