Yammer
Yammer is the historical name of a conversation and community platform for organisations in the Microsoft ecosystem, continued under the name Viva Engage
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
Its interest lies in facilitating exchange and participation at work, without reducing all collaboration to direct messages. Membership and access depend on how each environment is configured; it is not defined as a network always limited to a single email domain. A community needs purpose and management alongside the tool.
