A blogroll is a list of links to recommended blogs or websites, usually displayed in a permanent section of a blog. It was a way to discover publications and show connections between authors
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
Its usefulness depends on the selection and context of the links. Repeating a recommendation across several pages does not automatically make it spam; the problem arises when a link scheme is used to manipulate search results. The list should help readers and be maintained when its destinations change.
