What it is and how it works
In blockchain, it is worth examining which functions or rights the project assigns to the token, without inferring them solely from its name. In security, a token can refer to a credential without necessarily being temporary. In AI, it denotes a unit of representation processed by a model, covered in its own entry. Sharing the word does not imply shared operation, economic value or legal treatment.
