Cue card is an expression used for visual support materials and, in some contexts, specific advertising formats. It does not, on its own, identify an advertising standard shared by all platforms

What it is and how it works
A useful description should explain where the asset appears, what it contains and what interaction it allows. The term is retained as a vocabulary reference, without attributing universal dimensions, behaviour or availability to it. In media planning, the publisher's specifications determine the requirements for the advertising asset being bought.
