Location-based services, or LBS, use geographical information to provide features such as directions, nearby results or content related to a place

What it is and how it works
Location may come from sensors, information provided by the person or estimates such as an IP address. Their accuracy and permissions are not identical. The interface should explain the use and allow an incorrect location to be corrected. A device's technical permission does not cover all the conditions governing data processing either.
