Privacy policy

A privacy policy provides information about an organisation's processing of personal data. It should clearly explain who is involved, what the data is used for and how the organisation relates to the people affected

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It is not blanket consent and does not replace actual data management. Its content should correspond to the processes and services it describes. It differs from a cookie policy and legal notice, although these documents may be related within a website.
