Thank-you page

A thank-you page confirms a completed action, such as a request or purchase, and explains what will happen next. It should correspond to an operation that has actually been accepted

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

Loading its URL does not in itself demonstrate a conversion. Measurement needs to rely on valid confirmation and avoid duplicates when the page is reloaded or revisited. Excluding it from the index can prevent irrelevant appearances, but does not replace that validation or make the URL a private resource.
