Web performance optimisation

Web performance optimisation, or WPO, improves the loading, responsiveness and stability of a digital experience

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It can work on images, code, fonts, the server and loading priorities. It is best measured with real usage data and controlled tests. Reducing a page's weight helps when it improves the experience, but size is not the only factor.
