What is structured data?

Structured data provides search engines with information based on tags that describe the content of a web page. They are not visible to the user, but they are configured so that the robots can track them and understand what they are going to index. They offer information with a high level of organization that is usually found in most databases. The ease offered to search engines to classify content makes search results more and more successful.
