Research hypothesis
A research hypothesis is a provisional explanation or expectation that can be tested against evidence
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
It must be specific enough to design a test. For example, attributing drop-off to a lack of trust requires looking for signals that support or contradict that cause. Its role is to guide learning, not to turn an intuition into a premature conclusion.
