Research sampling
Sampling selects part of a population or set to obtain information relevant to a study
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
The method depends on the question and the type of inference sought. It may aim for statistical representativeness or a diversity of experiences. The sample size should be justified together with its composition; a large number does not guarantee that the necessary profiles have been included.
