Empathy map

An empathy map organises observations about what a person says, thinks, does and feels in a given context

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It helps to share knowledge and spot gaps in research. It should distinguish the data collected from the team's interpretations. Filling in the map with assumptions can help to formulate hypotheses, but it does not turn those hypotheses into evidence.
