Voice search

Voice search uses speech as the input for a query. The system interprets that input and returns information through an interface that may combine voice and a screen

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

Not all spoken queries have the same length or are local. The answer needs to be clear and suited to the context, especially when heard without visual support. Structured data can describe content, but does not guarantee selection or reading aloud by an assistant.
