Street furniture panel (mupi)
A mupi is an outdoor advertising panel built into street furniture, usually a lit, eye-level display case on pavements, at transport stops or in public spaces

What it is and how it works
The name comes from the French mobilier urbain pour l’information (street furniture for information), as many of these panels combine an advertising side with a side for municipal information such as maps or notices. They are found in bus shelters, columns or free-standing units, and increasingly in digital form, with screens that rotate ads.
They are part of out-of-home advertising and, when digital, of DOOH. They should not be confused with street marketing, which refers to creative activity in the street rather than booking fixed advertising sites.
