Indexability

Indexability is whether a page meets the conditions needed to be added to a search engine's index

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It depends on access, server responses, directives and other signals. It should be distinguished from crawling: a page being reachable does not guarantee that it will be indexed. Checking it means reviewing both the configuration and the status observed in the search engine.
