Systemic design

Systemic design tackles problems by considering the relationships, dependencies and effects between multiple actors and elements

What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.

What it is and how it works

It combines design tools and systems thinking to explore interventions. It helps detect consequences that a view focused on a single piece might miss. The system is bounded in order to work on it, recognising that this boundary is a decision and not an absolute limit.
