Geotargeting
Geotargeting adapts the distribution of content or advertising using location information. It can use broad areas or more precise signals, with varying levels of accuracy
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
An estimated location is not the same as knowing a person's exact whereabouts. The design should explain what information it uses and for what purpose, and comply with applicable conditions. A message's relevance also depends on context and need, not just geographical proximity.
