A stakeholder is a person or entity that can influence an initiative or be affected by it
What it means, how it is used and where it comes up, with its related concepts.
What it is and how it works
It can include users, teams, clients, partners and public bodies. Identifying their needs, responsibilities and influence helps to design participation and decisions. Being a relevant stakeholder does not mean that all their preferences carry the same weight.
