What is the engagement metric?

Indicator or KPI measuring the degree of commitment and the level of interaction of the audience with the content published by a brand. Examples of engagement metrics are, for example, the pages viewed by users, the time they remain on a website, the comments on a post, or the number of subscribers, in the case of websites or blogs. In the case of Twitter, engagement metrics are deemed to be the number of replies, retweets, quotes, and favourites. On Facebook, likes, comments, and shares are measured. And on Instagram, likes and comments are assessed. In e-mail marketing, the most popular engagement metrics are the open rate and the unsubscribe percentage.
