Creating professional software without having to code.

At a glance

A whole industry is growing around the possibility of creating software for professional use without knowing how to code. The so-called low code or no code trend is not new as such, but it does bring some new developments, as the Big Five (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google) are betting on modelling and code generation, investing in and developing their own solutions without manual programming. The goal: to minimise the amount of code that has to be written.

A market niche that, according to Gartner, will account for more than 65% of application development activity by 2024. Forrester Research is not far behind, forecasting that total spending in the category will reach 21.2 billion dollars by 2022, with annual growth rates of more than 40%.
