Ergonomic design

The rise of mobile devices and the spread of UX design centred on the way users interact with the screen are opening the door to an increasingly ergonomic UX, built with the context, posture and position of use in mind.

Adapted design means building interfaces that are more comfortable to use. To do so, it is necessary to research and understand how users relate to their devices: how they hold them, what actions they perform, how they move, and so on. It is a question of ergonomics: users have got used to stretching their fingers and holding their devices insecurely in order to perform certain actions on the screen, and a design adapted to that way of using them noticeably improves the experience of interacting with these devices.
