What is MOOC?

Acronym of the phrase Massive Open Online Courses, which refers to training activities carried out remotely via the internet and which are available to all those who wish to follow them without any prior requirements, allowing access to a high number of students. MOOC, which is envisaged for autonomous learning, is composed of materials such as videos, reading lists, and assessment questionnaires, and it also provides channels for students and teachers to interact. Coursera, MiríadaX, and EdX are examples of platforms providing MOOCs.
