New times for relationships

All over the world, the pandemic is radically changing approaches to love, dating, sex and family relationships. While married people, couples and families have spent more than half the year together facing the pandemic, single people are exploring new ways to meet people.

If first dates or life as a couple are complicated in normal circumstances, adding the elements of the pandemic, such as lockdown, remote working, masks, social distancing or restrictions on freedom of movement, generally does not help strengthen relationships. The pandemic continues to put pressure on couples, families, colleagues and friends, who also face the challenge of surviving the transition to the new normal.

"Even though we're losing magic of that first date, kiss, touch... we're forced to think about how we can reinvent dating”. Yue Xu, co-host of “Dateable" podcast.
