Design as an organism

The new web design

Formulated a few years ago by Brad Frost, and reinforced by the publication of his book of the same name (Atomic Design) in 2016, it sets out a philosophy of web design (and graphic design) aimed at making the systematic creation of design pieces easier, faster, more consistent and more robust. The Atomic Design philosophy dissects design into its most basic elements (atoms, molecules, organisms, templates and pages) so they can then be put together, case by case and as needed, almost automatically, creating final results of unquestionable consistency, developed quickly and with little effort.
