What is a neologism?

A newly coined name, lacking prior meaning, arbitrarily established as the brand name.

There are different opinions on the suitability of christening a brand with an abstract name. Some of the advantages of this option compared to using specific names (descriptors) is that they are attention grabbing and may facilitate legal registration, as well as market growth opportunities (will be harder to encounter other businesses, competitors or otherwise, who share the same name); also facilitates differentiation and supports recall having overcome initial association or pronunciation difficulties.
