What is Google Adsense?

It is a free program that enables a website to be associated with the Google content network, ceding part of its space for AdWords to insert advertising messages in exchange for remuneration. Websites receive income each time a user accesses one of the published adverts. Through a segmentation process, the program ensures links are related to the content of the page were they are displayed, and enables a filter to be applied to reject any that their webmaster considers inappropriate. One of the many applications included, to choose what pages adverts are displayed on, their location and format, and providing detailed performance reports.

Google AdSense also provides the option of incorporating a search bar and obtaining benefits for each sponsored link that the users access after entering a query.
