What is RTB or real-time bidding?

An advertising buying and selling model that enables advertisers to bid on each impression in real-time. RTB is a bidding system that analyses, via cookies, the data for each user visiting a web page, identifies which advertisers are seeking those attributes and awards an advert impression based on the number of bids each advertiser has placed.

The entire process transpires in just 300-500 milliseconds.
