What is plain language?

Writing style used when drafting documents that makes them easy to understand. It is also an international movement that promotes the use of clear language both in the public and private sector, with the aim of making complex subjects more accessible to the general public. Plain language is characterized by being a brief style that uses concise and clear expressions, an effective linguistic structure, and good document design.
