High-ranking management position, the main function of which is to align the cyber-security strategy with the requirements of the business, so as to ensure that both the technology and all information assets are duly protected. The tasks include ensuring the privacy of the data, monitoring compliance with the legislation, defining the internal security rules, managing the risks and establishing action plans, increasing awareness at the organization in data-security matters, and preventing fraud committed using electronic means.
