What is an E-commerce manager?

Professional profile dedicated to the development and implementation of a company’s e-commerce strategy. Responsibilities range from direct sales via the website to the creation of a business plan, and also include the definition of promotional offers and the selection of suppliers. An E-commerce manager would normally report to the managing director or the sales director, and has a background in business administration, commercial management, or marketing, as well as having a profound knowledge of the sector and the technological platforms involved.
