What is link sculpting?

Website positioning practice, similar to Google PageRank Sculpting, which consists of planning the appearance of a website vis-à-vis search engine webcrawlers for the purpose of controlling internal linkjuice redistribution.

To do so it applies attributes and meta tags which stop the indexing of links that lead to duplicate content or pages the webmaster considers irrelevant for positioning.
