What is viral rate?

An indicator used to measure which percentage of emails sent during an email marketing campaign are the forwarded by their addressees, who in so doing cease to be mere recipients and become senders, accepting a certain degree of complicity with the message.

This ratio is calculated by applying the following formula: (number of emails forwarded / total number of emails sent) x 100.
