What is mobile marketing?

Any marketing activity that uses mobile devices – smartphones, tablets, apps, consoles, smartwatches, inter alia – as a communication channel. It forms part of the overall marketing plan and covers both the design and the implementation and performance of the actions. The growing use of these devices (in the case of smartphones their use is practically universal in countries such as Spain) has given rise to this new branch of marketing. Advertising within an app, the sending of SMS messages, or advergaming are all examples of mobile marketing.
