What are bounced emails?

An indicator for the quantity of emails returned to sender during an email marketing campaign that could not be delivered to the destination account. Generally expressed as a percentage of the total emails sent, and all reasons are accounted for, both hard bounce and soft bounce.

It is recommended that a detailed record be kept of bounced emails to keep the contacts list up to date.
